* UNLV and Utah both started conference play 2-0 this weekend. The Rebels were the only team to record shutouts in both conference games.

* BYU's goalkeeper Erika Woodbury is ranked No. 5 in the nation for goals-against average (.295) and No. 7 for shots on goal saves percentage (.902).

* As a team, the Cougars are nationally ranked No. 3 for goals-against average (.339), No. 6 for win-loss-tied percentage (.893) and No. 10 for shutout percentage (.64).

* Four of last weekend's eight MWC games were decided by one goal.
