COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Senior forward Krissa Reinbold of BYU, senior goalkeeper Sophia Perez of San Diego State and freshman goalkeeper Erika Woodbury of BYU have been named Mountain West Conference Players of the Week for women's soccer. Reinbold, who earns offensive player recognition, receives her first career award, while Woodbury and Perez share defensive player honors. It is Woodbury's second career award, while Perez is being honored for the first time.

Reinbold, from Folsom, Calif., posted the game-winning goal in BYU's 1-0 victory over UNLV, Oct. 9. On senior night in Provo, Reinbold scored the game's only goal late in the second half. The Rebels are currently ranked No. 10 in the West Region.

Also from BYU, Woodbury has posted three consecutive shutouts, including two last week to open conference play. The freshman from Murrieta, Calif., helped the Cougars earn a 0-0 tie against San Diego State, Oct. 7, and the aforementioned 1-0 victory against UNLV, Oct. 9. She now has six shutouts on the season. Woodbury made seven saves in the two contests combined. BYU is now 5-7-3 on the year, 1-0-1 in MWC play.

Perez posted two shutouts last week as the Aztecs opened Mountain West Conference play with a pair of 0-0 ties against BYU, Oct. 7, and Utah, Oct. 9. San Diego State has now gone 296:44 without allowing a goal. In the game against BYU, the Bonita, Calif., native made three saves, including a diving effort with less than a minute remaining in the second half to help push the game to overtime.
