UNLV-San Diego State Women's Soccer Match to be Televised Live on The Mtn.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV and San Diego State's first conference game of the 2008 season takes place on Friday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m. PT, as the Rebels (8-3-1) will travel to San Diego to face the Aztecs (4-5-1). The match will be televised live on the Mtn.

The Mtn. is available on channel 616 on DIRECTV CHOICE and above packages for the states servicing MWC institutions (Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and the designated market areas of Dallas/Fort Worth and San Diego). Customers throughout the remainder of the country will be able to access The Mtn. with a subscription to DIRECTV's Sportspack. The Mtn. will broadcast 30 live regular-season football games this season, including six triple-header Saturdays.

The Rebels currently stand in second place in the MWC, boasting wins over nationally-ranked Wisconsin-Milwaukee and at Long Beach State (6-3-2). Ashleigh Shoughro leads the offense for UNLV, scoring six goals and adding three assists this season. San Diego State's Cat Walker leads the Aztec offense with nine points, including four goals and one assist. Last year's MWC Freshman and Defensive Player of the Year Aubree Southwick anchors the defense, starting all 10 games, while shutting out two opponents.
