Oct. 1, 2001
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico senior goal keeper Shelly Hammock has been named the Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week after helping the Lobos upset 12th-ranked Kentucky, 1-0, last week on the road. This is Hammock's first career weekly honor.
