• Six of the eight MWC women's soccer teams will begin league action this week. Wyoming will kick off the season at Air Force on Friday, Oct. 2, at 5 p.m. MT.

• TCU's Jordan Calhoun scored her first career hat trick vs. Stephen F. Austin last week. Calhoun has now posted 23 goals for her career, which moves her into No. 3 all-time in career goals at TCU. She is only the second MWC player this season to record a hat trick in a match, while also posting the second highest point total this fall in a single match in the conference.

• BYU is receiving votes in the NSCAA/adidas poll, while also ranked No. 20 in the SoccerTimes.com Poll and No. 24 in the Soccer American Top-25 Poll.
