MWC Women's Soccer Weekly Release

As the Mountain West begins its fifth week of play, TCU remains unbeaten with a 6-0-1 record. The Horned Frogs completed last weekend with a 2-1 OT win over Rice and a 7-0 blanking of East Tennessee State, including a hat trick by Lizzy Karoly. UNLV knocked off #24 Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as Brie Kuhne was honored by Soccer America for her efforts.

Utah earned its first shuouts of season, defeating Southern Utah, 2-0, and tying Loyola Marymount, 0-0. Air Force earned a win over Army, while New Mexico shut out Farleight Dickinson and tied Wisconsin-Milwaukee. San Diego State faced tough competition in Pac-10 foes Washington and sixth-ranked Portland, while BYU defeated Idaho State, 3-0. Wyoming also earned two wins on the weekend, defeating Idaho (3-0) and Gonzaga (1-0) on the road.
