COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - BYU senior midfielder Aleisha Rose and Air Force goalkeeper J.J. Wolf have been named Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. This is the third career weekly award for Rose and the first for Wolf.

Rose, a Lakewood, Colo., native, led the Cougars to a 2-1 record on the week, including an upset victory over No. 14 Kentucky, scoring a goal and dishing out five assist in the three games. In the Cougars 5-0 win over Southern Utah, Rose racked up four assists, setting a new BYU team record for most assist in a game. With her assist on Terra Bigelow's goal in the 52nd minute of the match, Rose became BYU's all-time assist leader. In the 2-1 upset over the 14th-ranked Wildcats, she knocked in an unassisted goal in the 28th minute to tie the match at one apiece and in the 85th minute she assisted Lydia Ojuka's game-winning goal to secure the victory.

Wolf, a Lakewood, Wash., product, helped Air Force to a 2-0 win over Drake last weekend. She saved 10 shots in the match, six of which were on-goal. Wolf collected her second shutout of the season and now has seven in her career which ranks second all-time in Falcon history. She currently ranks third in the MWC in saves (30), saves per game (6.00) and shutouts (two).
