Mountain West Conference teams posted a 7-6-1 record in the first weekend of play. UNLV led the way, defeating Cal State Fullerton and Arizona State for a perfect 2-0 start.

This week BYU, UNLV and Utah will all take on ranked teams. The Cougars and Utes will face #18/#25 Colorado in Boulder, while the Rebels will challenge #22/#21 South Carolina in Orlando, Fla. BYU is currently ranked #22 by Soccer Buzz Magazine, while Utah is receiving votes in the NSCAA Top-25 poll.
