COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San Diego State senior forward Nicole Findlay has been named the Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week following the Aztecs two victories last week. This is the second player of the week honor of her career as she won the award the first week of the 2000 season.

Findlay, a product of Fairfield, Calif., scored three goals in two matches last week. In the season-opening 3-0 win at Montana on Friday, she netted the first goal of the game in the 18th minute. Findlay notched two goals in the Aztecs 3-0 victory over Eastern Washington on Sunday, including the opening goal of the match at the 17:11 mark. San Diego State is currently 2-0 on the year and opened the season with back-to-back shutouts for the first time since 1993.
