Colorado Springs, Colo. - San Diego State's Nicole Findlay has been named the Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for her performance last weekend. This is the first player of the week honor for the junior forward.

Findlay, a transfer from Santaq Rosa Junior College, led the Aztecs to a 2-1 win over Mississippi in San Diego last Friday. She scored both goals for San Diego State in the victory, including the game-winner in the 74th minute. The goal gave the Aztecs a 2-0 lead as Mississippi added a late goal with two minutes left in the contest. The Rebels are the preseason coaches' favorite to win the SEC West Division.
