COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico women's soccer traveled to Colorado Springs, Colo., last weekend to participate in two spring matches against Denver and Colorado College. The Lobos dropped a 2-1 decision to Denver Saturday and tied the Tigers, 1-1, Sunday. Seniors Katelyn Ley and Anna Neu scored the goals for UNM as the Lobos continue to progress and develop during the spring.

"I'm very excited about the possibilities and the progress we've made this spring," said Head Coach Kit Vela. "A lot of young players were given opportunities during the weekend and they performed well. We have things to build on but I was very pleased with our play."

UNM continues spring action on April 22 at Northern Arizona. For more information about Lobo athletics visit www.GoLobos.com.
