SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's soccer team placed 10 players on the 2006 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team.

Utes making the team were: Katie Battazzo (Junior, 3.91, Environmental Studies), Emily Campbell (Junior, 3.51, Nursing), Kelly Isleib (Freshman, 3.00, Undecided), Kiley Jones, (Junior, 3.75, Communication), McKenzie Joyner (Senior, 3.06, Health Education), Hailey Marsh (Senior, 3.55, Communication), Ashley Mason (Senior, 3.68, Exercise & Sport Science), Katy Reineke (Sophomore, 3.54, Business), Melissa Wayman (Senior, 3.57, Exercise & Sport Science), Carisse Winegar (Senior, 3.30, Exercise & Sport Science).

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team.
