CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. --- New Mexico women's soccer dropped a 4-1 decision to Arizona Friday in Charlottesville, Va. The Lobos recorded 12 shots in the match with sophomore Markee Nobriga scoring the only goal. New Mexico falls to 3-2 overall with the loss, while the Wildcats improve to 4-1.

Arizona scored two goals in the first half. Jasmin Day gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead in the 31st. Analise Marquez added another UA goal in the 44th minute. The Wildcats held control of a 2-0 halftime lead over the Lobos.

In the second half, Arizona received goals from London King and Jasmine Namdar. King's goal came in the 75th minute, while Namdar's goal was in the 81st minute.

UA managed a 4-0 lead until the Nobriga's goal for UNM in the 83rd minute. The goal was her first of the year.
