Lobos Lose Heartbreaker in 2OT Freshman Madisyn Olguin scored her first career goal against Washington.

PORTLAND, Ore.---The University of New Mexico's women's soccer team fell to Washington 2-1 on Sunday in their second game of the 2011 Nike Invitational, hosted by the University of Portland. The Lobos fell to 3-3-2 on the season, while UW improved to 2-3-2. Freshman Madisyn Olguin scored her first career goal off an assist from Jennifer Williams in the 83rd minute of action. Washington managed to find the back of the net with less than a minute remaining in the second overtime period to steal the win. New Mexico was aggressive throughout the mact as shots were 19-13 UNM and 6-5 on goal for the Lobos. The Lobos will return to the UNM Soccer Complex this weekend, as they host their own Nike Invitational Sept. 16 and 18.
