Tigers Hand Rebels Road Loss UNLV drops a 2-0 contest at Pacific.

STOCKTON, Calif. - Pacific scored two first half goals to claim a 2-0 win over UNLV in college women's soccer action on Friday night from Stagg Memorial Stadium. Alex Topp scored the game's first goal, a shot to the top right corner off assists from Pernille Schulze-Larsen and Angelica Figueroa in the 10th minute. Schulze-Larsen then added to the Tigers' lead in the 44th minute, as she headed in a free kick from Figueroa that put Pacific up by a 2-0 score. UNLV was held to just three shots in each half, with the Tigers finishing with an 11-6 edge on shots, though shots on goal were only 5-4 in favor of Pacific. Katherine Orellana had two of the Rebels' shots on goal, while Denali Murnan and Jenna Howerton each had one apiece. In goal for UNLV was Kylie Wassell, and she finished with three saves and two goals allowed. Tashia Long posted four saves to earn the shutout for Pacific. UNLV returns to action on Sunday, closing out its six-game road trip with a 1 pm contest at UC Davis.
