FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Goals from freshmen Kim Koeppen and Anna Lowe lifted the Air Force women's soccer team to a 2-1 win over Austin Peay in final day action at the Razorback Adidas Classic Sunday morning at Razorback Field. Rookie head coach Larry Friend earned his first-career win as the Falcons improved to 1-2-1 on the season. The Lady Govs fell to 0-3.

Austin Peay struck first, as Lauren Moon scored 15 minutes into the match off a pass from Jazzmine Chandler.

Air Force tied it up in the 27th minute, as Koeppen headed in a corner kick from freshman Stephanie Patterson. The Falcons took the lead in the 39th minute, when Lowe scored her first-career goal.

The match was a tough defensive battle, with the two teams combining for just eight shots, five on goal.
