The Colorado State women's golf team shot a final-round 305 to finish in a tie for second place with a two-day total of 606 in the CU Heather Farr Memorial Invitational on Tuesday in Broomfield, Colo.

Top Performers...
Senior Trisha Quick led the squad with a three-over-par 75 on Tuesday to finish with a two-day total of 150. Her score was good enough for an eighth-place tie in the tournament.

Kristen Campos followed up her team-best 74 on Monday with a second-round score of 77 to finish with a 151 while teammate Chelsea Benton was just one stroke behind with a 152. Senior Margaret Garehime shot a day-two total of 76 to card a 153 for the event. Lynette Duran rounded out the CSU scoring with a 156. CSU's Megan Chapman (161) and Kylee King (163) each competed on an individual basis and finished in a tie for 47th and in a tie for 56th, respectively.

Up Next...
The Rams play next October 11-12 t the Boise State Invitational at Boise, Idaho. None of the Rams have ever competed at this event before.

Noteworthy...
Megan Chapman and Kylee King competed as individuals.

Three Rams lowered their per-round average: Chelsea Benton lowered hers from 77.33 to 77, Kristen Campos saw hers drop to 76 from 76.16, and Trisha Quick went from 76.67 to 76.25.

Trisha Quick shot rounds of 72 and 73 respectively at last year's Heather Farr Tournament to finish in a tie for second.

Kristen Campos improved 33 spots over last year's finish of 45 by finishing in 11th. Margaret Garehime made the most improvement of any Ram, moving from 64 to 19, a jump of 45 spots.

This was Megan Chapman's first tournament of her collegiate career.
