CSU In First Place At Pioneer Highlands Ranch Intercollegiate Golf Meet Nevada Wolf Pack one shot back following first round action.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State University's women's golf team holds a one-shot lead following the first round of play in the Pioneer Highlands Ranch Intercollegiate Golf Meet Monday. The Rams are coming off a first-place finish two weeks ago in their own Ram/Ptarmigan Fall Classic. Monday, second-year coach Megan Menzel's squad posted a six-over 294, one shot ahead of the University of Nevada and two shots ahead of host Denver University. The Rams' Mayumi Motoyama was the team's top individual finisher Monday, shooting a one-under par 71. Teammate Bridget Johnson is ninth, one-over 73, and Stephanie Linnell is tied for 10th, two-over par 74. Kylee King, in 20th and four over, and Lynette Duran, tied for 36th at six over, rounded out Colorado State's team scoring Monday.
Play concludes Tuesday with the final round.
