University of New Mexico women's golfer Jodi Ewart tied for 10th place at the AIB Ladies Irish Open played this weekend at the Portmarnock Links in Dublin, Ireland.

Highlighted by a hole-in-one in the second round, Ewart finished at 2-under 214 (74-69-71). She was the top amateur in the 129-player field. Italy's Diana Luna (11-under 205) won the tournament and more than $100,000 in prize money.

The Irish Open is part of the Ladies European Professional Tour.

On Saturday, Ewart aced the par-3, 165-yard 3rd hole on her way to a 3-under 69.

Ewart, who will be a senior in 2009-10, was a first team All-American for the Lobos last season. She is a three-time Mountain West Conference Player of the Year.
