LAS VEGAS - UNLV women's golf had three members on the 2006 Spring Academic All-MWC team, including repeat selection Allison Chell, the league announced this week.

Chell was joined on the academic squad by freshmen Da Sol Chung and Kasi Lee. Chell also earned a MWC Scholar Athlete award, along with Erin McGough.

To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-MWC team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the school while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team. To be eligible for selection as a MWC Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition for their athletic team.
