ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- New Mexico freshman golfer Jodi Ewart was named second team All-American today as announced by Golfweek. Ewart recently completed one of the greatest season in UNM history after setting a new freshman scoring record with a 73.35 average. Ewart is the first All-American since 2000 and the 13th overall. Ewart competed in all 11 events this year and had six top 10 finishes.

Ewart has received numerous awards throughout the year including being named second team All-American by the NGCA. Ewart was named the Mountain West Conference Co-Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year after winning the individual title. The North Yorkshire, England native is only the second freshman all-time to win a event.
