Colorado State University Women's Golf head coach Angie Hopkins announced today that Katelyn Negrelli will join the Ram Women's Golf team beginning in the fall semester.

"Katelyn will be an excellent addition to our program. She has the attitude, academic success and competitive experience to be a great Division I Collegiate Golfer,' said Hopkins.

Negrelli, a native of Longmont, Colo., claimed much success both in the classroom and on the course during her high school career. She attended Niwot High School where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA, earned four academic letters and was a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll.

Athletically, Negrelli was a standout competitor at Skyline High School where she was a member of the 2005 5A State Championship team. She is a three-time first team All-Northern Tri Valley selection and was named team captain as a junior and senior. As a senior, Negrelli placed in the top-10 at the 5A State Championship Tournament en route to her second consecutive Northern Tri Valley Division Player of the Year selection.
