ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Sophomore Kristi Larsen will compete in the 2002 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships to be held May 21-24 in Auburn, Wash. The University of Washington will host the championship.

Larsen qualified as an individual by way of her eighth place finish at the NCAA West Regional held last week in Stanford, Calif. She carded a tournament score of 220 and was one of two individuals not affiliated with the top-eight qualifying teams to be able to advance to the NCAA Championship.
