REBELS RETURN TO REGIONAL PLAY: UNLV will be playing in its fifth-straight NCAA Regional Tournament when the Rebels open up play in the West Region on Thursday. The 54-hole tournament will be played at Entrada at Snow Canyon in St. George, Utah. The West Regional is one of three regional tournaments held to determine the NCAA Championship field. A total of 324 participants have been selected for the regional competition. Of these players, 126 will advance to the championship finals held May 22-25 at the LPGA Legends Course in Dayton Beach, Florida. At the West Regional, 21 teams and three individual qualifiers will be competing for the top eight team spots and two individual spots.

THE FIELD: Arizona State, Pepperdine, Florida, Oklahoma State, BYU, Stanford, Denver, New Mexico, UC Irvine, San Jose State, UNLV, San Francisco, Hawaii, Cal, Idaho, Washington State, Campbell, Nebraska, Memphis, Sacramento State, Columbia-Barnard

THE COURSE: A Johnny Miller Signature golf course, Entrada at Snow Canyon opened in September 1996 and is a par 71 that plays at 6,234 yards. This will be the first time that this course has hosted an NCAA Regional event.
