ALBUQUERQUE - The University of New Mexico women¹s golf team head to Chapel Hill, N.C. and the NCAA East Regional, May 10-12 in hopes of claiming an invitation to the 2001 NCAA Women¹s Golf Championships, May 22-25. North Carolina will host the East Regional.

Three regions, West, Central and East, will determine participants in the 2001 NCAA Championships. Each region will send eight teams and two individuals not affiliated with those teams to the national championship.

Stetson University will host the 2001 NCAA Championship, May 22-25, in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. The Mission Inn Golf & Tennis Resort will host the tournament.
