Mountain West Conference Announces 2000 Women's Golf All-Conference Team

BYU's Summerhays and New Mexico's Webb share Women's Golfer of the Year Award. (4/26)

St. George, Utah - The Mountain West Conference announced its all-conference team and individual honors at the conclusion of its women's golf championship today at the Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George, Utah. Sophomore Carrie Summerhays of BYU and junior Ryley Webb of New Mexico were named co-Women's Golfer of the Year. Freshman of the Year honors went to Colorado State's Mayumi Motoyama, while the Rams' Amie Jensen was named Coach of the Year.

New Mexico was the only Mountain West Conference team to place two women's golfers on the all-conference team with Webb and sophomore Claudia Ferrini earning selections. The 200 Mountain West Conference individual champion Jordan Lintz of Wyoming also was named to the all-league team, along with Summerhays of BYU and Bree Sharratt of Colorado State.
