COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV junior Natasha Krishna has been selected the Mountain West Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for April.

Krishna finished first at the Indiana Invitational, while leading the Rebels to their second team victory of the season on the Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind., April 6-7. She finished 9-over 225 (75-74-76) on the 6,179-yard course, battling against snow, rain and wind. Krishna won the tournament by four strokes over second-place Elise Swartout of Western Michigan (74-76-79=229). It marked the second medalist honor of Krishna's career, as she won the 2006 Aloha Collegiate.

Krishna currently ranks third in the MWC for stroke average (73.20) and second on her team.
