Cowgirls Travel to St. George, Utah, for the 2001 Dixie Classic Hosted by
BYU: Monday and Tuesday, April 9-10 will see the Wyoming Cowgirls competing
in the 2001 Dixie Classic hosted by Brigham Young University.
Wyoming will be one of 19 teams competing. The teams will include:

This year's Dixie Classic will be a 54-hole event with 27 holes to
be played on Monday, April 9 and the final 27 holes to be played on Tuesday,
April 10. Tee times are set for 8 a.m., Mountain time each day.
The tournament is being played at the Sunbrook Golf Course in St.
George. Sunbrook has three different courses -- The Point (5,882 yards),
Woodbridge (5,911 yards) and Blackrock (5,939 yards). All three courses
play to a par of 72.
A year ago, Wyoming finished 19th out of 25 teams at the BYU Dixie
Classic. Former Cowgirl Jordan Lintz tied for 11th in the field of 128
golfers.
The Dixie Classic will be Wyoming's final regular-season tournament
prior to the Mountain West Conference Championship on April 23-25 in
Sunriver, Ore.
