The Colorado State University women's golf team shot a final-round 299 to move into ninth place in the San Jose State Spartan Invitational at Corral de Tierra Country Club in Salinas, Calif. Wednesday.

Ram senior Kristen Campos carded an even-par 71 on Wednesday to lead the squad with a three-round total of 221. Campos finished in a tie for 15th individually in the tournament matching Fresno State's Meggie Fagundes.

CSU freshman Chelsea Benton finished with a three-round total of 223 after a final-round 74. Her total for the event ranked in a tie for 18th overall.

Seniors Trisha Quick (235), Margaret Garehime (237) and Lynette Duran (238) rounded out the Rams' scoring for the tournament. Quick finished in 54th place while Garehime finished in a tie for 57th and Duran came in at 61st.

UCLA claimed the team title with a 16-over 868 while Cal's Sofie Andersson claimed individual honors with a seven-under 206.

CSU will be in action again on March 15-16 in the Anteater Invitational in Irvine, Calif.
