COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico junior Jodi Ewart has been selected the Mountain West Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for February.

Ewart shot a 2-under 70 in the final round to claim a share of the individual title at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational played in Puerto Penasco, Mexico, Feb. 22-24. Ewart finished the tournament at 3-under 213 on the par-72, 6,146-yard Nicklaus Legacy Course. Ewart was the only player in the field of 89 to shoot par or better in all three rounds (72-71-70). The win marked the fourth individual title for Ewart, tying the school record held by Caroline Keggi.

Ewart also tied for seventh place at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. She finished 7-over 223 (74-74-75) on the 6,168-yard Coco Beach Golf Course, coming in just four shots behind the leaders. The Middleham, North Yorkshire, England native posted a 72.67 stroke average in six rounds during the month of February.

Ewart currently ranks first in the MWC for stroke average (72.00) and is ranked No. 16 nationally by Golfweek.
