ALBUQUERQUE - The University of New Mexico women¹s golf team will compete in the 2001 Arizona Wildcat Invitational, Feb. 19-21 in Tucson, Ariz.

Course/Format -- The Raven at Sabino Springs will host the tournament. The course plays to a par 71 on 6,776 yards. Eighteen holes will be played each of the three days with the top four scores of each team counting towards the team total.

Arizona Wildcat Invite Field -- The 18 team field is comprised of seven of the nation¹s top-10 teams including: host Arizona, Arizona State, California, Duke, Nevada, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oregon, Pepperdine, San Jose State, USC, Stanford, Texas, Tulsa, UCLA and Washington.

Last year host Arizona took tournament honors with Duke¹s Beth Bauer taking medalist honors with a -5 under par 211 (67-71-73).

New Mexico placed 13th of 18 teams in last year¹s Wildcat Invitational. The Lobos scored a three-round total of 899 (305-297-297). Senior Ryley Webb was UNM¹s top individual with a tournament score of 223 which placed her tied for 36th place.
