Colorado State Finishes Fourth at Heather Farr Memorial Rams finished five shots behind Denver University.

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Colorado State University's women's golf team closed within five strokes of the team champion and finished fourth in the Heather Farr Memorial Invitational tournament Tuesday. The Rams, playing at the Sunshine Course in Broomfield, Colo., finished with a 303-303-606 team total, five shots behind Denver University, 307-296-603. The Pioneers beat runnerup Nevada by a stroke and host Colorado by three strokes with the Rams finishing fourth in the 16-team tournament. Kristen Campos was the Rams' top team finisher tying for eighth place. Campos shot a 76-73-149 to tie Lynette Duran, a sophomore and a member of the Rams' team, competed in the tournament as an individual in the tournament. Idaho's Nicole Keller won a two-hole playoff with Erin Kerr of Colorado to win the individual title. Keller and Kerr both carded 73-71-144 scores for the two-day, 36-hole tournament.
First-year coach Angie Hopkin's team returns to action Nov.
11-13 at
the Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.
