UNM's Larsen Finishes With Final Round 71 at NCAAs Sophomore finished with a tournament score of 301 (+13).

AUBURN, Wash. - University of New Mexico sophomore Kristi Larsen carded a final round 71 (-1) at the 2002 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships today in Auburn, Wash. The championship is being played at the Washington National Golf Club which plays to a par 72 on 6,273 yards. Larsen finished with a tournament score of 301 (75-80-75-71 = +13). The sophomore from Scottsdale, Ariz., qualified as an individual by way of her eighth place finish at the NCAA West Regional. Larsen was one of two individuals not affiliated with the top eight qualifying teams. Because of team competition indivdiual results will not be available until later this evening. Larsen finished the season with a 74.9 stroke average shattering the 20 year old UNM Sophomore record of 76.2 held by former Lobo Sue Sanders (1981-82). Larsen Season Notes
