WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - UNLV freshman golfer Sunny Oh shot a final-round one-under-par 71 on Friday at the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. She moved up 14 places in the standings during the final round to finish in a six-way tie for 11th place.

Oh concluded the tournament as the top finisher among those competing as individuals (78-76-76-71--301; 13-over-par). The first Rebel to ever play in the national tournament, she made two birdies and suffered only one bogey during the final round at the par-72, 6,225-yard Kampen Course.

Oh made up six shots on the leaders during the final day to finish only four behind Mikaela Parmlid of USC (77-73-70-77--297; nine-over) and Andrea Vander Lende of Florida (77-74-69-77--297), who both shot five-over on the day. Parmlid won the individual national championship on the first hole of the playoff.

USC (305-303-293-296--1197; 45-over) held onto the team lead to win the tournament and finished 15 shots ahead of Pepperdine (315-298-295-304--1212).
