AUBURN, Wash. - University of New Mexico sophomore Kristi Larsen carded a first round 75 (+3) at the 2002 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships today in Auburn, Wash. The championship will be played today through Friday at the Washington National Golf Club.

Larsen qualified as an individual by way of her eighth place finish at the NCAA West Regional. Larsen was one of two individuals not affiliated with the top eight qualifying teams.

The Washington National Golf Club plays to a par 72 on 6,273 yards.
