Rams Tied For 12th At NCAA Regionals The Colorado State women's golf team shot a 305 (+17) at the second round of the NCAA West Regional.
May 6, 2005 The Colorado State women's golf team shot a 305 (+17) at the second round of the NCAA West Regional, putting them in a tie for 12th place. The Regional concludes with a single round tomorrow, with the top eight teams advancing to the NCAA Championships. Colorado State trails seventh place Oregon and Oklahoma State by 8 strokes. "Trisha and Kristen again played solid. We've got a good shot at moving on if we can get four low scores tomorrow." said head coach Angie Hopkins. Trisha Quick currently sits tied for 16th place after shooting her second 75 (+3) of the tournament. Kristen Campos had the Rams' lowest second round, a two-over 74 and is tied for 24th. Margaret Garehime shot a 77 (+5) and is tied for 39th, while Lynette Duran fired a 79 (+7).
