The University of New Mexico collected its fourth consecutive Mountain West Conference Women's Golf Championship today on the Meadows Course (Par 71 / 5,851 yards) at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore. The Lobos and UNLV were tied for the team lead entering Saturday's final round and stayed tight throughout the afternoon. The team and individual champions were decided on the final hole as New Mexico junior Katrina Leckovic parred the 18th hole, and UNLV freshman Sunny Oh bogeyed to help New Mexico squeak out a one-stroke victory, 890-891. Colorado State finished third with a score of 917, followed by BYU (926), San Diego State (934) and Wyoming (989).

Individually, New Mexico's Leckovic claimed medalist honors with a three-day total of two-over 216. Leckovic entered the final 18 holes with a five-stroke lead over UNLV's Oh and held off a late charge by Oh to win the individual title by two strokes. Oh finished the 54-hole tournament in second with a four-over 218, including a 72 today. Third place honors went to sophomore Kailin Downs of New Mexico after firing a final round 73 and a tournament total of eight-over 222.
