SUNRIVER, Ore. - New Mexico's Katrina Leckovic parred the final hole of competition at the Mountain West Conference Women's Golf Championship on Saturday to seal a one-stroke victory for the Lobos over UNLV.

Both the Rebels and the Lobos began the day tied for the team lead, and the competition remained close throughout the day's round at Sunriver Resort (Par 71, 5,851 Yards). Leckovic held off a charge by UNLV freshman Sunny Oh to wrap up the individual title, but both teams were still tied as Leckovic and Oh approached the final hole.

It wasn't until after the final hole was completed that the teams learned the outcome. The Lobos won the team race by a single stroke, and Leckovic held on for a two-stroke victory over Oh despite shooting 75 in the final round.

Oh finished the day with a one-over par 72 and the tournament at four-over, good for second place.

The Rebels carded a 10-over 294 for the day, comprised of Oh's 72, a pair of 74s from Hwanhee Lee and Elena Kurokawa, and 75s from both Christine Hentzner and Erin Borcherts. All five Rebels finished in the top 10.

Now needing an at-large bid to advance to the postseason, the Rebels await the NCAA selection announcement on Monday, April 28.
