San Diego State Ties For Second At The Mountain West Conference Women's Golf Championship Aztecs led by Clingan

SUNRIVER, Ore. - The San Diego State women's golf team came from behind to tie for second with a 54-hole total of 887 (300-296-291) at the Mountain West Conference Women's Golf Championship at the Meadows Course (Par 71/5,851) at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore.
SDSU and Colorado State tied for second place with identical 54-hole totals of 887 (+35). The Aztecs overcame a four-stroke difference on the final 18 holes (291) to catch the Rams (295) and forge the second-place tie. New Mexico captured its second MWC title with an 861. BYU finished in fourth place with a team total of 900, while Wyoming finished fifth at 936.
Senior Jo Clingan turned in the top Aztec finish in fifth with a 218. Junior Heather Rollo turned in the next best Aztec finish climbing from ninth after the first two rounds to sixth with a 222. Ryley Webb of New Mexico won the event with a 209.
