SUNRIVER, Ore. - The University of New Mexico captured its second consecutive Mountain West Conference Women's Golf Championship today on the Meadows Course (Par 71/5,851) at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore. The Lobos finished the final round with a one-under 283 and a 54-hole total of 861 (+9). Colorado State and San Diego State tied for second place with identical 54-hole totals of 887 (+35). The Aztecs overcame a four-stroke difference on the final 18 holes (291) to catch the Rams (295) and forge the second-place tie. BYU finished in fourth place with a team total of 900 (311-292-297), while Wyoming finished fifth at 936 (317-312-307).

New Mexico senior Ryley Webb was the individual champion after firing a three-day total of 209 (-4). Webb entered the final round one stroke behind teammate Elisa Kase and shot a two-under 69 today to capture the title. Kase had an even-par (71) on the final 18 holes and finished second with a 54-hole total of 210 (-3). Colorado State sophomore Mayumi Motoyama was the final medalist shooting a final round 71 (E) and a tournament total of 211 (-2).
