SUNRIVER, Ore. - The Mountain West Conference Women's Golf Championship completed its second of three rounds today on the Meadows Course (Par 71/5,851) at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore. New Mexico extended its lead to 14 strokes after shooting a one-over par 285 today. The Lobos fired a nine-over 293 yesterday and now have a two-day total of 578 (+10). Colorado State moved into second place after a team total of 290 today and a two-day score of 592 (+24). San Diego State dropped to third with a 12-over 296 and a 36-hole total of 596 (+28), while BYU remains in fourth place (311-292=603) and Wyoming fifth (317-312=629).

Individually, New Mexico senior Elisa Kase moved into sole possession of first place after shooting a three-under 68, which is a tournament-low and women's championship course record. Kase now has a two-day total of 139 (-3). Colorado State sophomore Mayumi Motoyama (71-69) and New Mexico senior Ryley Webb (71-69) are currently tied for second, one stroke behind Kase at 140 apiece.

The final round of play will begin at 8 a.m. (PST) Tuesday morning. The Mountain West Conference will also announce its women's golf all-conference team and individual honors at the conclusion of the championship.
