After nearly 11 hours of traveling, the San Diego State women's basketball team arrived late Tuesday night in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Day one highlights of the trip included sailing on a catamaran to go snorkeling, followed by a two-hour practice at the University of the Virgin Islands. Later tonight, the Aztecs will jump on the St. Thomas Skyride to Paradise Point Lookout via a gondola for a welcome party and dinner.

The No. 23/24 SDSU women's basketball team, which earned its first top-25 national ranking since 1995 earlier this week, will face No. 5/6 Notre Dame on Thanksgiving Day for its first game of the 2009 Paradise Jam at 12:15 p.m. PST. Live audio will be available for all tournament games on goaztecs.com.
