COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The 2010-11 Mountain West Conference women's basketball season got underway on Friday, Nov. 12. The league's teams went 5-3 on the day with several players earning the first double-doubles of their careers and TCU senior Emily Carter earning her 1,000th career point. First-year head coaches Andrea Williams of Air Force and Anthony Levrets of Utah earned wins in their season openers.
