WNIT Championship Game to be Televised Nationally Fox College Sports will be carrying the contest on its affiliates nationwide.
March 30, 2007 LARAMIE, Wyo. - Saturday's championship game in the Postseason WNIT will be televised by various networks throughout the nation. The game, which starts at 1 p.m., Mountain Time, and is sold out at the University of Wyoming, will be available to more than 80 million households live across the country. Tickets sold out within 12 hours of the semifinal conclusion for the 15,000-seat Arena-Auditorium. Wyoming (26-9) survived three overtimes to beat Kansas State 89-79 in front of a school-record 12,225 fans. Wyoming's 26 victories are a school best. Wisconsin (23-12) also set a program record for victories in a season, as the Badgers held off Western Kentucky 79-72 to improve their all-time Postseason WNIT record to 13-1.
