Durbin & Sewell Named Capital One Academic All-District ... New Mexico senior Caroline Durbin (4.18 grade point average, Business) and Wyoming senior Chaundra Sewell (3.85 gpa, Pre-pharmacy) were named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District VII Team. Both student-athletes advance to the Academic All-America ballot. Quick Hits ... Air Force senior Alicia Leipprandt moved into the Falcons' top 10 in career scoring last week with 1,094 points (10th; 3rd in Division I era) ... Boise State senior Lauren Lenhardt has hit double-digit scoring in 16 games for the Broncos this season ... Colorado State junior Sam Martin joined the 1,000-career point club on Jan. 30. She now has 1,044 career points ... Fresno State upped its home winning streak to 20 last week against Air Force. The streak ranks third in the nation. The Bulldogs have held a lead of 20 or more points in the first half of each of the last four games, winning those four for the longest FS win streak of the season ... Nevada will spend this week on the road, travelling first to Colorado State on Wednesday before heading two hours south to Air Force on Saturday ... New Mexico junior Sara Halasz' comeback from back-to-back season ending ACL surgeries continues with a career-high six assists against Wyoming on Jan. 30 ... San Diego State celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Feb. 2 with all five starters scoring double figures. Courtney Clements scored 15, Chelsea Hopkins had 14, Erimma Amarikwa tallied 11 and Gabrielle Clark and Malia Nahinu each scored 10 points ... UNLV head coach Kathy Olivier earned the 300th win of her career on Feb. 2, 75-61 versus Boise State ... Wyoming is 13-0 when scoring 70 or more points this season and are 10-0 at home this season, the fourth longest home win streak at UW. Four MW Teams Set Season Marks in Attendance ... Fresno State, San Diego State, UNLV and Wyoming set season-highs for home attendance last week. The Bulldogs saw 2,950 fans come out for Wednesday's game versus Air Force. The Aztecs (1,842), Lady Rebels (1,222) and Cowgirls (4,053) made their marks on Saturday against Air Force, Boise State and Colorado State, respectively.
