Utah extended its conference win streak to seven games and overall win streak to 13 games with the win over Colorado State.

BYU 56, #15/#16 Wyoming 42
Provo, Utah Sat., Feb. 2, 2008
  • BYU has now won seven of its last nine games, after starting the season with a 5-5 record.
  • BYU's Mallary Gillespie Carling scored a game-high 20 points, her fifth 20+ point performance this season.
  • With the loss, Wyoming has lost two straight games, its longest losing streak of the season.

Utah 68, Colorado State 28
Salt Lake City, Utah Sat., Feb. 2, 2008
  • Utah remains in first place in the MWC race with a perfect 7-0 record.
  • The Utes have now won 13 straight games, its longest win streak since winning 15 straight games in the 2000-01 season.
  • The Utes held Colorado State to a season-low 10 first-half points, as well as a season-low 28 points in the game.

TCU 67, Air Force 49
Colorado Springs, Colo. Sat., Feb. 2, 2008
  • TCU has now won three straight road games and seven of its last nine games. The Horned Frogs had dropped each of their first six games away from Fort Worth this season prior to the current stretch.
  • The Horned Frogs' Emily Carter scored a career-high 14 points, highlighted by a career-best four 3-pointers.
  • Air Force's Pamela Findlay earned her third double-double of her career with 14 points and a career-high tying 12 rebounds. Findlay has also extended her consecutive free-throw streak to 23 made.

New Mexico 94, UNLV 64
Albuquerque, N.M. Sat., Feb. 2, 2008
  • New Mexico earned its first conference home win with the 94-64 victory over UNLV.
  • Three Lobos scored 20+ points in the game. Amy Beggin (26) and Brandi Kimble (22) scored career-highs, while Dionne Marsh (22) earned her sixth 20+ point game this season.
  • The Rebels were handed their fifth straight loss on the season, their first-ever five-game losing streak in MWC play.
