Mountain West Announces Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week - January 14, 2013

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State forward Lauren Lenhardt and Fresno State guard Ki-Ki Moore earned Mountain West Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week honors for games played from Jan. 7-13, 2013. It is the third honor of the season for Lenhardt and the fifth of her MW career. It is Moore's first MW weekly accolade. Lenhardt, a senior from Eagle, Idaho, led the Broncos to a come-from-behind 70-68 home win over Wyoming on Wednesday night in BSU's only game of the week. She capped off a Boise State rally in the closing minute of the game when she hit a three-pointer with 20 seconds remaining to give the Broncos a 69-68 lead, followed by a key defensive rebound with 10 seconds left to preserve the win. Lenhardt ended the night with 18 points and a team-high 10 rebounds, while shooting 44.4 percent from the floor (8-18), including 66.7 percent from 3-point range (2-3). She also contributed a team-high three blocked shots and did not commit a single turnover. Moore, a junior from San Francisco, Calif., led Fresno State to a 2-0 record last week with an 80-72 road victory over San Diego State and a 69-65 home win against New Mexico. She recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds to go along with three assists and three steals at SDSU, the Bulldogs first game as a member of the MW. Against the Lobos, Moore scored 22 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists to lead the Bulldogs. She was 9-of-15 from the field (.600) and 3-of-4 (.750) from the free throw line. For the week, Moore was 14-of-31 (.452) from the floor and hit 8-of-11 (.727) from the free throw line. She averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals over the two games.
