COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - All nine Mountain West Conference institutions will participate in the 2008 NCAA Women's Basketball Pack the House Challenge. Each institution will compete against all Division I schools and fellow conference members to "Pack the House" at a home game from January 1 - February 17.

The 32 conference winners will be announced on March 3, 2008. Judging criteria includes marketing plan creativity and attendance figures, including a sellout or the largest percentage increase from the previous year's single-game record attendance. The NCAA will make a $500 donation to a non-profit organization (of each institution's choice and subject to approval by the NCAA) on behalf of each of the 32 winners.

TCU is the first MWC institution to participate in the challenge. The Horned Frogs' "Pack the House" date is Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, vs. San Diego State at 6:30 p.m. CT.
