Air Force Falls To Tennessee Tech At Islander Tip-off Tourney Beck leads the way with 15 points and eight rebounds in 81-49 loss.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Air Force women's basketball dropped a 81-49 game against Tennessee Tech Saturday night at the Holiday Inn Islander Tip-off Classic at American Bank Center. Junior guard Raimee Beck led the Falcons for the second night in a row with 15 points and eight rebounds. The Panthers jumped ahead 15-2 to start the game and never looked back. Kyle Cook scored 18 and Tacarra Hayes 16 to lead four TTU players in double-figures. Krystal Stirrup scored 11 points and Rachel Glidden added 10. Air Force was held to 27.5 percent shooting from the field. The Falcons did a good job of getting to the free-throw line, making 29-of-20 from the charity stripe. Air Force also out-rebounded Tennessee Tech 43-42. The Panthers led 34-24 at halftime and then erupted for 47 points in the second. The Falcons return to action Tuesday, Nov. 17, with its home-opener vs. Adams State. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
