LAS VEGAS (AP) - Jodi Bolerjack scored a game-high 15 points to lead Wyoming past San Diego State 56-44 in the quarterfinal round of the Mountain West Conference women's tournament Wednesday afternoon.

Bolerjack went 9-of-10 from the free throw line and had six rebounds.

Also for the second-seeded Cowgirls (21-8), Hanna Zavecz had 11 points and nine rebounds, while Dominique Sisk added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Quenese Davis led No. 7 San Diego State (12-16) with 13 points and five assists.

After a 19-19 tie with 17:27 left in the game, Wyoming went on a 7-0 run and never trailed again.

The Cowgirls built the lead to 37-28 with 6:05 remaining. The Aztecs cut it to 43-40 with 3:19 left, but got no closer as Wyoming built its largest lead by game's end.

Neither team had more than a three-point lead in the first half, and the Aztecs led 17-14 at the break.

Wyoming shot 15-of-47 (32 percent) from the field, while San Diego State was 16-of-52 (31 percent). The Cowgirls went to the foul line 36 times and made 26, and the Aztecs were 8-of-14.
